Diversidad cultural frente a nacionalismo político: los frentes abiertos en el ámbito educativo

The arrival to the school system of Catalonia and Spain of an important quota of foreign students has put in evidence the difficulties of combining some institutional educational values orientated towards the cultural homogeneity with a social situation of increasing rnulticulturalism and transnationalism. The principal aim of this work consists of checking the immigratory processes in Catalonia of last century to show all that we can learn of the previous experiences to realize a better management of the multicultural current situation in the school.
