The experience of the Academy in Argentina, as a stable institution, was late in time in comparison with the other ones appeared in the American continent. It was in 1876 with the creation of the Fine Arts Stimulus Society when the old desire of an important school was realized. The efforts to emulate the Enropean academical systems, with improvement scholarships abroad, annual halls, prizes, &c. were fruitless for years. In that sense, the Argentinian State support was irrelevant and everything confine to the artists will in the institution. One of the first achievements was the Fine Arts National Museum foundation in 1896 and the nationalization of the Academy in 1905. National Hall should wait until 1911, The institutional consolidation of the Academy arrived in the moment when its methods were argued, while winds of change marked the dynamic of the Argentinian plastic art.
