This article is a reflection, a critical essay on sustainable construction, its context and the actions addressed to achieve appropriate urban and rural habitats that
are relevant to local conditions and socio-cultural dynamics of its inhabitants. Without
denying that there are certifications and strategies useful in certain countries, the
discussion focuses on the issue of standardization and the elimination of complexity related to this, all within a constructive thoughtful, and grounded exercise, that dresses as a place and thus respects the idiosyncrasies of people and potentiates local economies and talent.
