Entre a valoração e o direito: O que está em debate nas estratégias de conservação da agrobiodiversidade1

This article seeks to contextualize the main strategies that currently surround the debate on the conservation of biodiversity, relating these approaches and perspectives that have developed around the concept of sustainability. Under the rhetorical concept, distinct approaches that translate into different propositions. Not intended to simplify the discussion here, nor make caricatures, just place it, contextualizing it historically through theoretical review. Thus, the unveiling appearances, to overcome socially constructed argument in favor of joint efforts, the sum of all parts express, invoked as a cry for sustainability. Instead, we find distinct perspectives: (a) a reconciliation to the yoke of the market as a regulator of the use and conservation of agricultural biodiversity through economic valuation, (b) the ideology of political will to establish limits to growth and he stop the degradation of agricultural biodiversity; (c) the hope of overcoming towards a new rationality, where the use and conservation of agricultural biodiversity and the assumption is right. The dispute between these perspectives is materially determined, considering the complexity of the web of social relationships that shape the world today.
