Data management and web applications

The SARTI group counts with a multi-field staff, capable of performing projects
with several areas of work. Usually, one of these areas involves some
kind of computer programming, which can vary from the development of
a simple application to the design and programming of a full dedicated
website.
In the last few years, we have used a huge variety of technologies in our
projects. Several Java applications have been developed to control and
save data from the OBSEA expandable seafloor observatory. Moreover, we
have also worked in Java and Visual C++ desktop applications, working
over both Linux and Windows operative systems.
We have also developed a new project based on Android, the famous mobile
operative system. This adds the mobile applications area to our already
wide range of activities.
Finally, the main SARTI website has got a full redesign, developed over PHP
and Javascript technologies, which offers a new and improved portal to
show our work and potential. The site is constantly being improved, along
with the OBSEA website, and we are currently working in two new ones for
the 2013 editions of IMEKO and MARTECH conferences.
