María del Carmen Lorenzatti has a MA and PhD in Educational Sciences. She is professor and researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities at the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). She also works as Sub-secretary of Academic Degrees and has been Chair of the School of Educational Sciences. Her research interests are in the area of youth and adult training. In this interview Dr. Lorenzatii discusses the results of her doctoral thesis. Specifically, she talks about adult literacy with little or no schooling, studied from an approach that highlights multimodality and the role of mediation.
