The aim this study is to the trade union notions and concepts developed by labours working in sugar cane and alcohol plants in the State of São Paulo. By mean of that it is possible to identify the internal contradictions in the trade union movement as consequence of corporation praxis of profissional categories involved in sugar cane alcohol plants
