Divulgar la ciencia en diferentes contextos: la aportación de la comunicación intercultural
Resum
Our hypothesis is that intercultural communication has a strong potential of contribution
for the activities of scientific dissemination. These benefits can be detected in totally
different cultures and will have influence on the selection and the approach of subjects
and in the events of scientific popularization. They also help to stimulate the interests that each public has on the benefits of science and technology. In this type of
approach it is necessary to consider the particularities of each culture, its tastes, its characteristics
and the previous knowledge of the public, through a wide study of the local
reality. Perhaps the greatest challenge of the scientific dissemination is to spread a knowledge
that satisfies the desires of an enormously heterogeneous public.
