Resum

The causes originating affinity differences in wool dyeing are examined. Different methods have been applied to evaluate the affinity differences and a classification sclae of tippy-dyeing affinity differences has been made. With the aid of this scale, different wools have been classified according to their tendency to give tippydyeing, the dyeing conditions and percentage of the auxiliary product to reach levelling has been equally studied as well as the action exerted by various auxiliaty products with different ionic character.
