Resum


Zeta potentials of polyester fibre modified in presence of NaBr and NaC1 and under the influence of the electrolyte concentration were discussed. From these potentials, the surface potential and the variation of surface charge were calculated.
Zeta potentials of polyester fibre modified lwith sulfonic groups were obtained by using the method streaming potential. Computation was made with the Helmholtz-Smoluchwski equation.
The influence of the fibre dyed with cationic dyes on the zeta potentials was examined in presence of NaBr. Finally, the zeta potentials were studied in presence of cationic surfactants of quaternary ammonium with hydrophobic length chain.
