Resum

The authors describe a measuring method with makes it possible to determine the initial modulus of elasticity of individual fibres. This method is issued from a series of interlaboratory tests and is applicable to all fibres, natural or chemical ones, at least 20 mm long and the specific breaking elongation of which is less than 200 %.
