Resum


The massive introduction of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) in modern society, and into the educational scope and the development of virtual learning-teaching realms, demands a re-statement of the traditional teaching and teacher training models in order to answer to this new situation. This paper aims to tackle, from the social constructivism perspective, the problem of the permanent teacher training process with the introduction of ICT’s in the educational practice, and the determinant role that the Practice Virtual Communities could have in the aforementioned training.
