Aproximació als periòdics i als periodistes de la Barcelona de 1820 a 1839

Resum

During the first part of the XIXth Century there was an important development of the press in Barcelona, directly connected with the instauration of the liberal State. The life of these publications was conditioned by the political circumstances, alternancy of restrictive and permissive periods, and also by the limits imposed by the low number of readers and the important extension of analphabetism.
