La sierpe que sueña con el pájaro (algunos apuntes sobre María Zambrano, dramaturga).

Virginia Trueba Mira

This essay studies the dramatic and explanatory notes that María Zambrano wrote on the occasion of La tumba de Antígona. These notes have been kept as unpublished
drafts in the Foundation named after María Zambrano, but they had been removed from the text published in 1967, according to her wish. As a whole, the notes shed light on Zambrano’s scenic thought, such as it is concreted in the several references to the physical characterization of the characters, to their movements and gestures on the stage, to the scenic space itself and its luminosity, and particularly to music. Also, the notes reassert as well as complement the meaning of the published text, especially with regard to its decisive symbolism.
